Just like you must change your exercise routine, you must change your eating routine to keep getting results. This is why, in my new book MenuPause™, I’m bringing you variety of plans to help you break free from plateaus, accelerate your results, and further ease menopausal symptoms.

One of these plans is my brand-new Keto-Green Extreme eating program.

If you’re familiar with my Keto-Green plans, you’re probably wondering: “What’s the difference between Keto-Green and Keto-Green Extreme?”

Great question!

Let’s dive in, first with a refresher course on Keto-Green.

Keto-Green is a combination of ketogenic eating and alkaline nutrition. There’s no question that going keto works. This strict high-fat/low-carb diet denies the body glucose as a main source of energy and instead promotes the production and use of ketone bodies as fuel. It’s a great way to move you off a weight plateau, gain willpower, lose those last stubborn 10 pounds, and get results fast. But going keto also often results in gastrointestinal discomfort, low energy, and moodiness—known as the “keto flu”—which makes the diet hard to sustain.

My solution to these issues is to add in alkaline foods—leafy greens, other vegetables, broths, healthy oils, nuts, and seeds—for a lifestyle that produces rapid fat loss, trims belly fat, and yields a total body transformation. Alkaline foods help prevent the side effects of pure keto dieting.

Alkaline foods, along with others, provide you with plenty of protein, high-fiber veggies, and an abundance of healthy plant-based fats. You enjoy delicious and healthy meals, all with what your body needs for fast, sustainable weight loss and hormone balance.

So in a nutshell, Keto-Green is keto nutrition married with alkaline foods, and with an emphasis on plant-based fats.

Keto-Green Extreme is all those things too. But with one major difference. It takes into account autoimmune protection.

According to a report published in Emerging Infectious Diseases, autoimmune diseases are the third most common category of disease in the United States after cancer and heart disease. They affect approximately 5%–8% of the population or 14–22 million people. They can strike virtually anywhere in the body, including the endocrine system, connective tissue, gastrointestinal tract, heart, skin, and kidneys.

At least 15 diseases are known to be the direct result of an autoimmune response, including rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, myocarditis, type 1 diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease (including leaky gut), and lupus.

Autoimmune diseases are the result of a malfunctioning immune system that mistakenly attacks healthy cells, tissues, and organs.

Of the people affected by autoimmune disease, nearly 80 percent are women. That is nearly 7 million women. Although medical scientists aren’t sure why women are more vulnerable, they believe that sex hormones, such as estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone, may be involved in altering the immune response – which means that balancing your hormones becomes all-important.

To help women afflicted with autoimmune disease, I created my extreme plan. It pauses certain foods (even some considered “healthy”) and focuses on health-promoting, nutrient-dense foods that reduce inflammation (which is highly involved in these diseases) and lower the symptoms of autoimmune diseases.

Keto-Green Extreme allows fewer foods than my main Keto-Green nutritional plan. In fact, the following foods and spices are eliminated:

  • Gluten-containing foods and all grains
  • Eggs
  • Dairy foods (butter, cheese, cream, ghee, milk, and yogurt
  • Legumes
  • Nightshades (such as tomatoes and eggplant)
  • Nuts and seeds and foods containing them
  • Spices made from seeds or berries (i.e. allspice, celery seeds, nutmeg, pepper, and so forth)
  • Alcohol
  • Any food with additives, coloring, or preservatives

Anyone can try Keto-Green Extreme, but it is best if you:

  • Suffer from any type of autoimmune disease
  • Are experiencing these key symptoms of menopause: hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, unexpected weight gain; and physical and mental tiredness.
  • Need to lose weight steadily.
  • Are “weight-loss resistant,” meaning you have trouble dropping pounds.
  • Have been diagnosed with hormonal imbalances.
  • Have insulin resistance, prediabetes, or full-blown diabetes.

I know you’re going to love Keto-Green Extreme – and the results you will see and feel after following it! And be sure to check out the other plans, along with their recipes, in MenuPause.
