The X chair was originally released in 1959 and is an early example of flat-pack, buildable furniture with a design informed by old wooden tennis rackets.
Its oiled oak frame features a walnut insert at the junction where the legs, backrest and seat meet to highlight its X-shaped silhouette.
The seat is made from natural rattan that gently reclines to accomodate the user.
“Its streamlined form and utilisation of quality materials reflect the traditional values of Danish design,” said &Tradition.
The chair is suitable for indoor settings across a variety of sectors.
